Meedan hiring in Cairo

Next week, I'll be joining Meedan CEO Ed Bice, and Program Officer Tom Trewinnard in Cairo for a full week of meetings and planning on our citizen journalism project.

We'll be working out of the offices of Al-Masry Al-Youm who have generously offered us some space as part of our ongoing partnership in this work. Big thanks to Fathy Abou Hatab and Kismet El Sayed for making this possible.

The good news is we're hiring. We need a journalist, a project manager and a community coordinator. If you have a journalism background, social media skills, community management or project management experience and are in Cairo, get in touch.

If you have an open source or nonprofit project that needs web design, translation, or any of the areas where we have expertise at Meedan (see this site for more), we would also love to hear from you. Or if you just fancy meeting us for a cup of coffee, heck, let's meet.
